| Showtime Starts Season With A Win!!! |

Defense and pitching was definitely the story of the night. Melissa started the game and pitched great, then Brittany came in and finished the job. Offensively, Melissa and Stephanie had the only two hits, but thanks to 8 walks, we scored 5 runs in the 4th inning. Tanya had 2 walks and Ciera, Paulina, Halle, Melissa, Brittany and Cheyenne all had 1 walk each. The play of the night came in the last inning when Tanya snagged a line drive with a runner on first base and nobody out. She quickly threw the ball to Cheyenne at first base to get the girl leading off for a double play. Brittany got the last out on a ground ball right back to her to end the game. Way to start the season.
